OMG Cat. Guess what Choco Saw!

Sometimes you look at your cat and you know exactly what they are thinking.   We are sure that Choco is thinking "OMG" but we aren't sure why.  What is your best guess as to what made this cat amazed?

Meet Nora, the Piano-Playing Cat

Which one of us doesn't think our cat is the cutest, smartest and most talented kitty on the face of the earth?   But let's face it, some people's cats have it over ours.  Case in point -- meet Nora, the piano-playing cat.   Nora was adopted from a shelter by a piano teacher in New Jersey.  After a settling-in period, where Nora spent much of her time trying to avoid the five other cats living in her new home, she took laying under the the two grand piano's while her owner and her students played.   One day, about a year after arriving in her new home, the cat decided in was time to turn her interest into her passion.  Nora jumped on the bench and started to play. Now she plays up to 4 times and day.  She even performs duets.  Read all about Nora on her own website, NoraThePianoCat.com and check out all of her 7 videos on YouTube and her site under videos.

A Cat that Eats Watermelon!?!

We have heard of cats that eat vegetables like sweet potatoes, mushrooms and green beans.  There are even a few kitties that enjoy a sweet snack like donuts every now and again.  But watermelon?  Check out this video of a  cat that eats watermelon with zeal!  There is no doubt he/she loves the fruit.

Eating yummy fruit and veggies is one thing but what is if your cat is eating non-food items, like wool, rubber or plastic?  He/she may have a condition called 'pica'Pica can be a sign that your cat is suffering from severe anemia or other disorders.   For more information on cats eating non-edible food items, see WebMD's article on unusual cat cravings and a veterinarian's blog detailing what it means when cats eat weird things.

Wakey, Wakey. Time to Feed the Cat

It's Saturday morning.  You get to sleep in an extra hour.  You are deep asleep and dreaming of beaches in warm, sunny places.  The sounds of the ocean gently hitting the white sand beach is interrupted by sound of a chain saw.   The heavy buzzing noise is getting closer and closer.  You turn and feel a sharp stabbing pain on the side of your face.  You jolt awake and realize, the chainsaw of your dream is actually your beloved purring, claw-using cat who wanted her breakfast 2 hours ago.   You are not the only one out there.  The writer of Simon's Cat knows your pain.
